Who says you have to serve cookies?

My daughter Bea's Senior Piano Recital was this afternoon. She has worked for an entire year practicing, planning and practicing. She was expected to plan the music, who she would have to fill out the recital, where it would be held, invitations, programs, thank you's, and a reception.

Who says you have to have cookies or brownies or cake at a reception? Bea needs to eat gluten free and is also lactose intolerant. She planned a gluten free, dairy free reception. Everyone enjoyed the food and it was simple.

She had fruit and veggies. Honeydew melon, watermelon, grapes, sliced pink lady apples, carrots, celery and grape tomatoes. She also served ice tea with no added sweeteners and chilled water bottles.

Good Job Bea!
